Across the UK, from 1st - 7th June, organisations are celebrating the amazing work of volunteers.
Are you looking for an inspiring project to get involved with? Why not join us at CoedUNO, our community growing and agroforestry site in Tegryn, North Pembrokeshire.
Last month, we ran a huge variety of sessions - from tree planting and plant species identification, to learning about composting systems and soil health.
It's all about connecting with nature and learning new skills, in a beautiful place with a friendly team.
Your help makes all the difference, so we’d love to see you at our next session, whether it's for a one-off visit or to get involved more regularly.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn land-based skills in a hands-on way that's supportive. You don't need any previous experience, as expert guidance and support will always be provided.
What skills will I learn as a volunteer?

All these sessions are led by our volunteer co-ordinator, Kevin Rabbitt, who is an experienced horticulturist, woodsman and agroecology advisor.
So, it's a unique chance to learn from Kevin's experience, whether that's expertise in regenerative land management or skills in traditional woodland crafts.
What's more, we want the focus of these volunteer sessions to be led by you and meet your interests, so get in touch with your ideas: kevin@cwmarian.org.uk
Where we meet:
We will meet at 10am in front of Ysgol Clyda, Tegryn, SA35 0BE where there is roadside parking.
Exciting progress at CoedUNO

Take a look at our newly laid, mobility-friendly paths (pictured). Next up: a tool-shed shelter, a disability-friendly compost loo, and improved vehicle access.
The site isn't yet open for general visits, but you can still get involved and see the transformation first-hand by joining one of our volunteer sessions.
Thanks to our funders:
These sessions are made available for free thanks to the funding from the Woodland Investment Grant (TWIG), delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with the National Forest for Wales programme.
Important Note About the CoedUNO Site
Currently, the site is only accessible during these supervised volunteer sessions on Tuesday morning. This is because we are significantly improving the site’s infrastructure to make it more inclusive and accessible.
Other than these volunteer sessions, the site will be closed to the public to ensure the safety of both visitors and contractors until the works are completed later in the summer.
If you are joining the volunteer sessions, please approach the site with care and observe any signs, as building work is underway.
