CARE Energy Support Services
The Project Coordinator /Service Lead will oversee the Cartrefi Clyd project - a brand new service offering subsidised domestic retrofit assessments delivered by trained assessors hosted by a partnership of social enterprises and community energy groups across Wales. If the role-holder is based locally, there will also be an opportunity for them to work closely with existing staff to steer the Pembrokeshire Smarter Energy Support Service (PSESS); a home energy advice service that CARE established and has been consistently running with trained staff in post since April 2021, and scope the development of a self-funded service.
There is an opportunity for the applicant to choose to be either a CARE employee or approach us to negotiate as an independent contractor (who would be answerable to the Cartrefi Clyd steering group, not directly to CARE).
Hours = 4 days/week, negotiable. Job share and a creative approach to managing working patterns & locations will be considered.
Salary = £27,417 per annum pro-rata if choosing to be a CARE employee, and negotiable if choosing to be an independent contractor.
Contract term = Initial contract until 31/12/24 with high likelihood of extension beyond that date depending on project development/ funding/ income generation in the future. Start date negotiable but immediate start possible.
