Weekly volunteer days

Come along on Wednesday mornings to work with a team of other volunteers to develop practical woodland management and land-based skills.
No previous experience is needed, guidance and support will always be provided.

Roughly 4km walk on uneven ground.

Hedges & Edges - Community Day

Join us for a day celebrating the hedges and edges that surround the Afon Nyfer.
Chris Roscoe will run a workshop exploring all things hedge-laying in the morning and in the afternoon Max and Dan from Hydref Collective will be leading a 'Mythic Forager' walk through Ty Canol to discover the edibles, deadibles and stories from the local area (places will be limited on these two events).
Kelly Cracknell and Seren Stacey will be running family craft sessions all day, making natural pigments and autumnal bunting, and there will be a talk about diversifying verges from Neil Harnott. No booking needed, just come along!

CoedUNO Autumn Open Day

Join us at the CoedUNO site in Tegryn with orchardist Martin Hayes for a day of apples, fresh juice and autumn activities.
Come and explore our community woodland in Tegryn, find out more about caring for fruit trees and enjoy some family time outdoors.
Martin will lead orchard sessions covering tree health, seasonal maintenance, apple varieties and pruning, from 10am–12pm and 1–3pm. Please email Emma to book your place.

Gardening Volunteer Days

Do you enjoy gardening out in nature or are keen to learn new growing skills? Join our small team of volunteer gardeners on a flexible basis.
