HOW IT WORKS
NO NEED TO BOOK, JUST SHOW UP!
GATHER APPLES:
  • Gather up your apples from your garden, allotment or community project.

  • Take out any apples that are badly bruised or rotting, as we can’t juice those. You can bring as few or as many apples as you like.

GRAB SOME BOTTLES:
  • Collect some bottles to take your juice home in. To estimate how many bottles you need, weigh or count the apples. 1kg of apples - about 10 apples - will give you about 0.5 litres of juice.

COME ALONG:
  • Come along and join in. We’ll wash, scrat and press your apples and hand you your juice. It costs just 60p per litre.

  • You can also take the left over “pulp” home too. It’s great on the compost or to feed to animals.

ENJOY:
  • Then what? Cider, vinegar, pasteurised, or good old plain juice. We’ll have guides on what to do with your juice to take home too.
