Feeding our Community

Teaching, Motivating, and Inspiring!

Feeding Our Community (FOC), a project by Cwm Arian Renewable Energy, aims to teach, motivate, and inspire our Carmarthenshire community to grow, store and prepare food in publicly accessible green spaces. Designed with the local community in mind, helping to make where we live better for everybody. Taking part in the project is FREE and allows your community to have their say about how their green spaces develop. Providing opportunities for people to learn about growing their own food, cooking seasonal produce together, and seeing their ideas come to life on a garden design map.

  • Support from design experts. This could

include help managing your venue’s budget to carry out your design, help sourcing funding or further design advice,

  • Up to £1000 to implement your design ideas. This could be spent on a) elements identified during the design sessions, b) paying a facilitator to run a workshop to implement a chosen design feature, or c) additional onsite design support.
