CLEAN Afon Nyfer
The dedicated volunteers of the CLEAN afon Nyfer project have been out again this summer; sampling the rivers and streams across the catchment and noting ecological obervations. Building up a deeper and clearer set of baseline data about the Afon Nyfer and its tributaries through the seasons. The report and executive summary can be downloaded below.
The great news is that Pembrokeshire County Council are supporting the next phase of this project through an Enhancing Pembrokeshire Grant!
So we are extending the sampling period until summer 2023, and are keen to recruit more volunteers and develop new roles. This could be anything from collecting stories, recording wildlife observations, analysing the data that we are collecting, or gathering local groups who are interested in their local environment and would like to share knowledge and learn more.
