1. Rural Social Enterprise Officer - Resilient Enterprises Programme

CARE has received funding from the Third Sector Resilience Fund to employ 2 staff members to support people to develop new skills, through a programme of volunteering and training, with a view to establishing a network of sustainable social enterprises that are owned and managed by CARE.


The Rural Social Enterprise Officer's key task will be the research and development of at least 3 sustainable social enterprises.


Contract Duration: 12 months

Salary & working pattern: 4.5 days/week (job share will be considered), £13/hour

2. Volunteer & Training Officer - Resilient Enterprises Programme

The Volunteer & Training Officer's key task will be the recruitment and management of volunteers, to offer them experience and training through CARE's enterprises and the other activities we deliver.

3. Freelancer for project establishment & delivery of pilot: Pembrokeshire Smarter Energy Support Service (P-SESS)

CARE have been granted funding from the charity National Energy Action to provide information about smart meters and to promote the importance of monitoring and managing energy use to people on a low income. We are looking for a self-motivated, approachable person or team to establish and deliver a pilot energy support service from April to December 2021.


Contract Duration: start as soon as possible; targets are expected to be met by 8th December

Payment & employment status: £6,760 fixed rate for the role.

This is the equivalent of 520 hours at CARE’s £13.00/hour rate. The role is offered as a self employed position on a fixed term contract.
