Community Facilites and Development

The 3 phases :

Phase 1 : Purchasing and using the old school site . Thank you to all who purchased shares to help purchase the site from the local authority. There is now a community run cooperative developing a social enterprise for ensuring the sustainability of the site.

Phase 2: The detail architecs plans have been discussed by the community and we are now preparing to build the new exention to the site. The old canteen kitchen will be demolished and the new 150 seated hall and stage area will be built. See attached plans HERMON Community Centre Plans

Phase 3: The final phase will be that of a Hostel / residential area for 20 people to stay at the community owned site. We have funding bids submitted awaiting a result.
