About Cymdeithas Cwm Arian Association
Cymdeithas Cwm Arian Association is a Local
Community Forum that covers the three north Pembrokeshire villages
of Hermon, Glogue and Llanfyrnach. This community is a rural area
covering some 200 houses and farms bounded by the Preseli hills
to the west and the river Taf to the north. The name Cwm Arian,
or Silver Valley, was chosen to reflect the historical connection
with the lead/silver mines that were worked, for a number of centuries,
in the area of Llanfyrnach.
The association meets about four times
a year to review the progress of working groups that cover the
various categories of the Association’s Action Plan; some of these
categories are included in the menu to the left of this web-page,
which also contains other areas of interest. By clicking on any
of these menu options you can see their current status.
